What paperwork do I need to
donate my vehicle in Florida?
In most cases we need the
title to the vehicle. But, if you do not have title papers you
can apply for a replacement title before donating your vehicle.

You can contact the Florida
Department of Motor Vehicles with any questions you have about

What types of vehicles do not
require a title in Florida?
ATV's, off road vehicles,
snowmobiles, mopeds, and trailers under 2000 lbs.
Where do I sign the title before
donating my car in Florida?

Florida Title Sample
On the title, the donor should
fill in the name and address of the charity, the odometer
information, and the date sold in the "Transfer of Title by
Seller" section. They must then sign their name in the left
column in the Seller section and hand print their name in the
right column, same section. The charity should then sign their
name in the left column in the Purchaser section and hand
print their name in the right column, same section.
